Nokia X3 NEWEST

Nokia X3 is an affordable (by European standards, that is) and relatively inexpensive (in Russia) music-heavy phone. While it could have been announced at any other event or even with a bare press-release, Nokia picked Nokia World 09 to unleash the X3, which is going to be one of the first affordable phones from Nokia, armed with Nokia Comes With Music and a 1-year subscription to this service (unlimited music downloads via CWM).

The X3 doesn’t have any bells and whistles, and is your “ordinary affordable phone” – it’s a pretty pocketable plasticky slider with colored inserts on the sides and a keypad that’s styled to look like a piece of metal. The sides and the battery cover are clad in soft-touch plastic which lend the X3 a nice feel in the hand. Unfortunately, though, the front-fascia is quite a finger-print magnet.

Also it comes equipped with a pretty entry-level 2.2 inch TFT display with QVGA resolution, that serves as a window to S40 functionality. As far as music-related feats go, it’s got a 3.5 mm audio jack on the top edge and stereo speakers positioned on either end of the phone.

The main value offered by the X3 is its Comes With Music bonus; see for yourself: retailing for merely 115 Euro, it comes with a one-year full-fledged subscription to Nokia’s music library, which will be a sweet opportunity for many. And for everyone else there will be the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic.
